What Studyledge is, what it is not, and how the questions are made.
Is Studyledge free?
Yes. Every question and every full worked solution is free to read, with no account and no paywall. If paid features arrive later they will be additions, not a wall around what is already public.
Are these real past paper questions?
No, and deliberately so. Examination boards do not permit third parties to host their past papers, questions or mark schemes. Every question on Studyledge is original, written from the published syllabus objectives. Where you want the real papers, each topic links straight to the board’s own website.
Which syllabuses are covered?
14 in total: Cambridge O Level / IGCSE and AS & A Level across Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Economics and English First Language, plus IELTS Academic. Each subject is organised by syllabus topic.
Do I need to sign up?
No. There is no account, no sign-up and no email required to read anything or to use the practice modes.
Is the content written by AI?
The questions and worked solutions are drafted with AI assistance from the published syllabus objectives, then checked automatically: independent passes re-solve each question, verify the arithmetic and the mark allocation, and confirm it stays inside the syllabus. A human review pass runs on top of that and is still in progress across the library. The about page explains the process in full.
Can I trust the answers?
They are checked, but they are not infallible, and no revision site should be treated as a substitute for your syllabus or your teacher. If something looks wrong, report it and it will be corrected quickly. Corrections are the fastest way this library improves.
Does my practice progress save?
Yes, on the device you used. Progress is stored in your browser rather than on a server, so it does not follow you to another device, and clearing your browser storage erases it. Nothing about your practice is uploaded.
Can teachers use this with a class?
Yes. Read it, print it for revision, and share links freely with students. The only things asked are that you do not republish the material as your own or resell it.
Is Studyledge affiliated with Cambridge?
No. Studyledge is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Cambridge Assessment International Education, the British Council, IDP or any other board. Syllabus codes are used only to say which qualification the material is written for.
How do I report a mistake?
Email the subject, topic and question number along with what looks wrong. Corrections are prioritised over everything else, because a wrong worked solution is worse than no worked solution.
