Officer: Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to the grand opening of the Elmbridge Community Hub. Thank you all for braving the queue outside! I'm Daniel, one of the centre managers, and before you go off and explore, I just wanted to give you a quick tour in words, since a few of you have been asking where everything actually is.

So, we're standing in the main reception area now, right inside the front doors. The room on your immediate left, the first door along the left-hand wall, is our new community library. It's smaller than the old library on the high street, but it's open longer hours and has a much bigger children's section. Carry on down that same wall, to the room right at the back on the left, and that's our IT and digital suite, with twelve computers and free printing for residents.

Crossing to the right-hand side, the first room along that wall is our café, we're calling it the Hub Kitchen, which will serve breakfast and lunch every weekday. Beyond the café, at the back of the right-hand wall, is the children's play and reading corner, which is kept separate from the library so that younger visitors have somewhere a bit noisier to be themselves.

Straight ahead, filling the entire back wall of the reception area, is our main hall. That's the big multi-purpose space for classes, markets and events, and it can seat up to two hundred people.

Now, upstairs, and this changed partway through the build, so do listen carefully. We originally planned to put the exercise studio at the front of the first floor and the meeting rooms at the back, but so many local groups asked for meeting space that we swapped it around: the meeting rooms, which residents can book for free, are now at the front of the first floor, directly above reception, and the exercise studio, which will run yoga and fitness classes, has ended up at the back, above the main hall.

Both the lift and the staircase up to the first floor are just beside the main hall. Right, does anyone have any questions before we let you loose?

A large hall fills the whole of the back wall, marked E. The staircase and lift beside the hall lead up to the first floor, where two rooms sit directly above reception and the hall: the room at the front of the building is marked F, and the room at the back, above the hall, is marked G.
