Which papers you sit

All candidates take two components.

Core candidates take Paper 1 and Paper 3, and are eligible for grades C to G.

Extended candidates take Paper 2 and Paper 4, and are eligible for grades A* to E.

Candidates should have a scientific calculator for Paper 3 and Paper 4. Calculators are not allowed for Paper 1 and Paper 2.
